Introduction
HawkSync is a specialized server management and remote administration platform designed for the classic tactical shooter Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. It provides server operators with a modernized interface to control, monitor, and extend server functionality, bridging legacy game infrastructure with contemporary management capabilities.
The project is actively developed and currently in beta, with a strong focus on stability, usability, and ongoing feature expansion.
Core Purpose
HawkSync aims to replace or augment older server management tools by offering:
- Centralized server control (local and remote)
- Enhanced player and gameplay management
- Integrated statistics tracking and web publishing
- A scalable UI designed for future expansion
- There is also an update function so when you open your Server Manager or Remote Client, it will check for updates and prompt you to download the latest version if one is available.
- Integration capabilities with external systems, including support for the NetLimiter API for advanced network and bandwidth management
Additionally, HawkSync expands gameplay flexibility by enabling support for custom and community-driven modes, including:
- 4 Team-based gameplay configurations for specialized maps (currently still working on this)
- A new Custom Game mode called Hide and Seek, allowing server operators to diversify player experiences beyond standard game types
HawkSync is particularly relevant for communities maintaining legacy multiplayer servers, where tooling has historically lagged behind modern standards, and where extending both administrative control and gameplay variety is essential for keeping player bases engaged.
